Veganism and Veganic Growing

Mentoring

Veganism

The shift to veganism may seem daunting. However, as one begins to learn about the suffering and injustice surrounding non-human beings used by a myriad of mainstream industries, it becomes easier to remove them from our plates, closets and entertainment schedules. When one opens his or her mind to vegan education, it is not uncommon to transition to veganism overnight.

Nevertheless, some humans have difficulty abandoning old habits and traditions and are in need of additional support. We are pleased to provide resources and information, and to address specific questions, ranging from food ingredients to responding to questions posed by non-vegans. We offer guidance at no charge, to anyone interested in ethical veganism.

Veganic Growing

Terra is also a certified veganic farm, meaning that all the vegetables, herbs and seeds we grow are free from animal by-products, like blood meal, bone meal, manure, urea, fish meal, feather meal and other animal derived matter.  We do not use pesticides, fungicides, or any other substance or method that would cause harm to local flora, wildlife or other living beings that depend on one another to maintain a healthy ecosystem. Feel free to reach out for support in transitioning existing growing spaces to veganic gardens, or to learn how to create a new garden without the use of animal inputs.

Feel free to reach out to us via email at, info@terrafarmsanctuary.org and let us know the best method and time to contact you.
