Arthur

Taken in as a 6 -month -old lamb, our boy is as sweet as he is large… at; 150 pounds, when just a baby, there is so much to love about this baby boysheep, and… he is the newest member of the Terra family. Arthur was saved from death by a nice woman who took him away from a university agricultural program where his leg was injured when he was very young. Because he was deemed “less than perfect” he was destined for slaughter. Arthur was bottle fed and given the loving care he needed to thrive. Unexpectedly, the property owners of the land where Arthur was living decided they no longer wanted any sheep on the property, including Arthur, and that he would be butchered with the rest of his sheep friends if he was not removed from the land. The kindhearted woman could not get the property owners to change their minds, so she reached out the sanctuary community and Terra was able to offer Arthur him a safe and loving home for the rest of his natural life. Today, at 250 pounds, Arthur is one of Terra’s most accomplished beggars, and is thriving with his best sheep friends Sol and Mazel.
